These include visual effects, 3D rendering, drawing and composition, character rigging, and animation fundamentals. Animators may also need skills with design and animation software, such as Adobe Photoshop.

Animators need to understand what clients want and deliver satisfactory output, so they need to be able to communicate well.
Creative problem solving
Animators need to be able to innovate solutions and troubleshoot issues that arise during the animation process.
Attention to detail
Animators need to pay close attention to detail to ensure their work is high quality.
Time management
Animation studios often work on tight deadlines and long hours, so animators need to be able to juggle a lot of work in a short time.
